What is the Kamloops Art Teachers’ Association?

The KATA is an association of teachers dedicated to supporting and promoting quality art education for all School District 73 students. The association provides a network for art educators at the Primary, Intermediate and Graduation levels, and provides opportunities for professional development and collaboration. It is an LSA (local specialist association) supported by the Kamloops Thompson Teachers’ Association.

Who Can Join?

Secondary art teachers, elementary generalists, art contacts, and anyone else interested in promoting visual arts education in Kamloops and the surrounding areas. To join, simply contact Sharon Richards (srichards@sd73.bc.ca). Please include your work location in your email. There is no membership fee to join.
